What a wonderful world

Watched the film Guzarish. Though impressive screenplay and cinematography but the overall rendition was gloomy. The audience remain detached to the protagonist his cause and his life and sufferings all of which was kind of forcefully induced into the minds of the people. Overtly idealistic characters, with no shades of grey seemed choking at times. It was more like watching a play on the stage rather than watching a movie on the screen. Its high time Bansali changes his settings from black and white and Victorian to something more contemporary and appealing - the last three movies have the same kind of look making it tiring for the eyes. Commendable performances as guaranteed in all Bansali movies and the moving music are the forte of the movie.
